Adult Leisure between desire and reason with ‘Dancing Don’t Feel Right’

With acclaimed feedback from Variance Magazine, The Line of Best Fit and Under The Radar, Adult Leisure is set to release another Indie song that’s timeless.

The upbeat tempo paired with lively synths and melodies that simply won’t let your mind rest in the best of ways, makes a catchy tune, that’s truly Adult Leisure style. Already jumping into with a bang, the song continues to have easy to remember lyrics while still handling the topics of inner conflict. “And we see you / You’re still suffering / Come and make yourself feel better / Don’t you wanna feel much better” easily sets the tone for the duality of irresponsibility in situations where the line between doing the wrong or right thing is blurry. The band describes it as “the urge to let loose, to break out of the mould and do the bad thing”. ‘Dancing Don’t Feel Right’ was recorded and mixed with Ollie Searle at Humm Studios and mastered by John Webber. The raw vocals from singer Neil Scott, strong guitar tunes from guitarist and vocalist David Woolford, instantly catchy drums from Nathan Searle and the groovy and driving bass from Luke Denham make the perfect mix and blend together seamlessly.

The Bristol-based band just got their first song played on nation TV with their single ‘Borderline’ being aired on an E4 Made In Chalsea episode. Having supported the likes of Human Interest, The Luka State and Afflecks Palace, as well as having played UK tours of their own, the band is on their way to win over Europe. Adult Leisure formed in 2020 and recently signed a publishing deal with Wipeout Music, setting another milestone in their young lifetime as a band.

Adult Leisure is a band to look out for in the future and for fans of The Cure, Blossoms and Sam Fender. Their next dates include supporting The Rills at The Louisiana in Bristol, playing at the Supersonic’s Block Party in Paris, ButeFeston Isle of Bute, Varanger Festivalen in Vadsø, Cornish Bank in Falmouth and their biggest headline show to date at the Thekla in Bristol.
