Alex Warren Delivers a Stellar Performance at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire

On the evening of March 25th, the charismatic American singer, Alex Warren played a sold out show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire which was one of two sold out shows in London.

It was clear that this was not going to be an ordinary concert from the moment Warren stepped onto the stage. Known for his dark humour, quick wittedness and infectious energy, Warren immediately connected with the audience. With comedic interludes between songs, the Californian singer was able to create a lighthearted tone for the evening. 

The setlist was a well-curated mix of Warren’s biggest hits, including fan favourites “Carry You Home”, “Ordinary”, and the crowd-pleaser “Burning Down”. Each song was performed with a raw emotional intensity that resonated with the audience, drawing them into the narrative of each track. “Carry You Home” was a particular highlight, with Warren’s emotive vocals accompanied by the crowd.

When Alex finally stepped onto the stage, he was spotted holding a cardboard cutout of Joe Jonas, who appears on a version of the song “Ordinary.” This hit single has propelled the singer to the number one position on the official UK singles charts for two weeks running. The cutout was humorously integrated into the show, much to the delight of the crowd. In a moment of spontaneous fun, the cardboard cutout was sent “crowd surfing,” much like a real-life rock star, and the audience eagerly passed it around the venue. This playful addition not only showcased Warren’s comedic flair but also highlighted his willingness to engage with his audience in innovative and unexpected ways.
