Brighton born singer Alfie Jukes is out with the new single ‘Sunburn’ and it is the perfect song to end the summer on a high.

Jukes started off his career with the release of debut single ‘Spiderwebs’ and has since then gained a lot of traction across different platforms. The singer has had a busy year supporting artists such as Only The Poets and Myles Smith as well as going on his own solo tour, hitting cities in the UK and Europe. Starting off the year with the release of ‘Eyes Wide’ shortly followed by the much beloved Sitting Pretty EP, the fans of the 21 year old have had a lot of new music to obsess over. 

The newest single ‘Sunburn’ is an ode to the summer and it’s impossible to sit still while listening to the song. It’s a playful and energetic tune that takes you right back to the warm summer days. 

Details, such as the sounds of a record getting turned back or fast forward, are elements that makes the song complete despite being such a small part of the whole song. It’s clear as day that the young artist and his co-writer Will Bloomfield knew exactly what they were doing when creating this track. Jukes wanted to end the summer on a high with the release of ‘Sunburn’ and it is without a doubt that he managed to do just that. Leaving the listener with the feelings of bliss and a high spirit the song makes you forget that the summer is soon coming to an end.
